Rivers

Notable rivers of Parshuram are Muhuri, Kahua, Silonia. The two banks of the river have been constructed by the Water Development Board. The rivers originate in the hills of the Indian state of Tripura. The rivers merge into the Meghna. At one time rivers were the main means of communication in the upazila. Every year there is a flood here.
